I Will Shoot Anything - PB#5

When I did my 6 Quirky Things meme the other day (actually, when my wife dictated my 57 quirky things that I edited down to 6) an item that didn't make the final cut was that when I take pictures, I will take pictures of anything. You know what? She's right. Case in point, these pictures!

I actually had fun shooting these though. For one, I love the blue. Two, I love messing around with depth of field. Not wanting to decide which depth range to share, you get three. Just be glad you're not getting all 14! And three, I'm really enjoying my new light tent.

Very cool shots. 57 quirky things? Is that all? It's awesome how you get such clarity of focus. A light tent must be fun to work with. Glad you're enjoying it.

I have been enjoying your entire blog. You have a way with words as well as with your camera. Great Blue.

Well, you shoot "anything" really really well!! And that particular shade of blue seems to keep popping up with you and again with the white. Love your work, learn lots when I come here :0)

A blue padlock...I'll have to look for these colored ones. They'd be so much more fun than silver and black. Nice close ups!

LOL! That is awesome!!! The fact that you shoot anything is what makes your stuff so much fun!

Robert,

This shade of blue translates so well on my lappy--it's so inviting, even if it IS a lock! Ha! Crazy photographers will shoot anything...EVERYTHING...yes? I love it! You're like me, I have a hard time choosing just one shot when I like them all. You've done well with a simple, everyday object...and sounds like you've got some new fun toys to play with!

On an unrelated note, I didn't want you to miss entering a CONTEST I POSTED ABOUT. I know you're a fan of contemporary Christian music, and this is a chance to win 18 CDs! WOWZA!

:)

I love blogs, I learn something every day. Now I know what a light tent is! Cool blue shots, "just anything" looks like a whole lot of something when you decide to shoot it.

"I will shoot anything" - an anything comes out looking awesome!
I wish we were neighbors so I could take lessons!
Love it - the last one is my favorite.

BTW - I left a note for you in my own comments today, but just let me say I wasn't endorsing Obama if you took my post that way - just capturing a bit of history. But, I really don't mind stirring up the pot if that's what it takes! :)

Very clever, I had to look very closely to see what it was!

Nice macro shots. Next time I need to crack a combination lock, I'll refer back to these.

You shoot "anything" well. :) I'm thinking of getting or making a light box. :)
