The other day I considered shooting our morning glories for what I thought would make a great Project Blue post. But those silly flowers seemed to have a mind all their own. In a most uncooperative way, they appeared a deep dark, brilliant purple. But then today as I glanced out the window I was so pleased to see the morning glories proudly exclaiming, "We're here! And we're BLUE." So without delay, I grabbed my camera and rushed outside to capture these images.

Okay. Now it is offical. I am jealous. It is good tomorrow is Sunday. I will go to church and repent -- until the next time I visit your blog.
I take pictures of great scenery. You take photos of everyday things and make them appear great. A camera, in your hands, knows how to find the glory in each of God's creations, be they flowers, or wooden toys abandoned in the yard.
Great shots -- I'm glad you you found your blue morning glories!
After church today, I'm going to walk around historic Philadelphia (if I don't melt from the heat and humidity)-- maybe I'll find something blue and finally join up with PB!
Haha, "bumming around" meant sending a couple emails, addressing the issues of finances, writing a paper, and wading through more periodicals from the 1850's. Now that I think about it, it doesn't really sound like "bumming around"...
Oh WOW! Those are stunning! Yea... I could NEVER make a morning glory look like THAT!
Hi Robert, i have just caught up with you last couple of blue posts. Stunning as always, and your morning glories are definately blue today!! I must admit i too took my camera to do the groceries the other day, with the intention of finding blue, but just couldn't quite bring myself to get it out of my handbag - after seeing all yours, i wish I had!! Thanks for your lovely comments when you visited the other day, I learn so much when i come over to your blog, look forward to the next post :0)
They are definitely blue and gorgeous. I love the last one - it's like it's little face is lifted to the sun's rays.
Great photos.
I think the last one is my favorite shot. Great blue post! I watched some awesome soccer games yesterday :-)
Wonderful as always. Glad the morning glories decided to cooperate. I love the first and last especially.
Incrediblue! ;)\
Absolutely bluetiful. he he
Beautiful photos, Robert. In each one, I can see the light shining in and behind the flower. Very nice.
Those are quite lovely. I think the first shot is my favorite, because it's so DIFFERENT!
