Even when I'm not shooting Lily herself, her things keep providing me plenty of photo opportunities. In my pursuit of blue today, I saw Lily's toy sitting out back while I was reheating leftovers for dinner. I grabbed my camera, got prone on the grass, which I had forgotten had just been previously watered, and snapped off a dozen or so shots before the chime of the microwave. I made it inside just in time to clean myself up a bit, and finish prepping dinner. Hope you enjoy installment number 2 of Project Blue.

You have the "eye" for photography. I never would have noticed this. I may not have noticed my post, if someone else hadn't pointed her out to me.
Another great blue subject! Great angles!
You do have the "eye" for photography as Quilly said. Another great subject Robert, love the orange along side the blue.
I do! I do! I always look forward to your pictures! You have such a great sense of whimsy about you. I think these shots were well worth a little wet belly...
That's indeed something special in blue !!
Reminds me of when my boys were little. . .I can hear those big wheels in the distant driveways of the past. . .
A blue and yellow Big wheel! What a Dad you are! :D
I had that exact same car when I was little! I got it for my first birthday... Needless to say it's not around anymore 17 years and 3 other kids later it's been through it all! My first thought when I saw this post was "Aw I had one of those!" Love the shots!
I love the angles you got! These are amazing photos!
... in response to your comment, I have a setting on my camera that allows me to only pick up one color, so thats a very easy way! But as far as editing goes, it does take some time/effort, especially if there are several things you're trying to edit!
Oh yes I do enjoy them, as always! I knew i'd find you here, I could not resist either! great angle in those shots, i love it!
I always love your photographs. I really love the angle on the first one and the way the grass comes up over the wheel. And you cook too. Wow.
What a great idea to shoot children's toys... I tons around the house... :-)
Very nice!!
you sure know how to find interesting angles. love these.
Wonderful Robert! The worn wheels tug at my heartstrings - I know she loves this toy which will make your photo ever more precious as she grows!
Yep. They are blue. Interesting pictures.
I like the trike! Great...I can see you lying in the grass! Did your Old Bay come yet???
Those are Gator colors!
Big blue wheels! What a great choice! Perfect for Project Blue!
Well worth the wet shirt. You will have many more to come! I swear that I spend most of my time on the same level as my children- either knees, bottom, or belly. It makes life, and photography, so much more interesting! Can you believe that someday that same little girl will roll away driving your car? Take lots of pictures and try to slow it down as long as you can!
I love the blue whels against the green grass and the yellow car body
it just says kids and summer
LOL about the wet grass
I love the second one and I can't figure out why I like it better. Maybe because it feels grounded and that's the way I prefer everything? LOL!!
Love the angle and the vibrant colors, lovely choices for blue!!
great blue
