Under the Big Blue Tent - PB#9

The circus was in town so we jumped at the chance to bring Lily. It's a good thing kids under 2 are free. Wanna know what captivated her interest the most? Ice. The girl loves ice. We bought a can of diet coke served warm with half a cup of ice. Since we are not in Germany visiting my friend Patric again, I demanded kindly asked if they would fill the cup all the way with ice to which they gladly complied. "IIsh, IIsh, IIsh" constatnly. Then the manners kicked in since we were not fast enough for her. "IIsh peas, IIsh peas, IIsh peas" Sorry, you might need translation. "IIsh" = "ice" and "peas" = "please." I managed to find some blue at the circus to share.

In case you're wondering about the new music, it's the song So What. It's from the Kind of Blue cd by Miles Davis.

Cool shots. I especially like the second and forth. I think it's funny that even the music is blue now.

Very dramatic photos and a cool story (pun intended). What more could one ask for in a Sunday night post

these are my favourite of all your blue posts, they are awesome photos, the colour is fantastic, i will be back to look at these again - great colour combo for a scrapbook page. Lily must have been mesmerized by all the lights and the bigness of it all. What will tomorrows last blue post bring?

These are so festive! And the blue is great! Can you believe none of my kids have ever been to the circus? We totally need to go!

I can smell the popcorn and the hear the sounds from your images!

Awesome post!
I don't have a very fancy camera... it's just a Canon Powershot SD850 IS digital elph (yes, I copied that straight from what it says on the front of my camera :) because otherwise I wouldn't know what I was talking about... I'm still working on the technical terminology for this whole photography thing)

Can't go wrong with Miles Davis either!

Oh my gracious I love these shots...really love them. I think my fave part of the shots is that you captured them while the seats were empty. I have that CD...woohooo. One of my dearest friends is a radio jazz DJ one morning a week ;)

I LOVE the circus!!! We took Jake to the Big Apple Circus last year and this year we might do Ringling Bros.

The circus sure has lots of beautful blues!

Great pictures as usual. When my granddaughter was little we took her to the circus. She was scared and hated it.

Okay, I must have missed something. What do Patric and Ice have in common?

Ditto regarding the pictures.

I love the circus and I didn't get to go the past couple of year... Great shots I like the one of the view of the circus tent from what looks like your seat.

Awesome shots. They tell a story while being just beautiful blue. Thanks for sharing.

These are terrific. The empty seats make a nice study in line. Love the lighting in them all.

Terrific shots! I really like the angle of the seats. The tent is just awesome. I've thoroughly enjoyed all of your Project Blue pix. You have a very good eye for creative and interesting shots, Robert! :D
