Today sadly marks the end of Project Blue. But another project is soon to come. Keep your eyes on Anna's site for details.
I said from the beginning that I was going to try to incorporate something new here for every Project Blue post. So what you're getting tonight are three that further support that fact that, "I Will Shoot Anything" but didn't feel they had enough ummpph to be here. But seeing as it's 10:15 p.m. and I'm beat, I'll see how they fly.

Blue glue on the threads of a sprinkler valve.
Electrical concealed in a blue plastic cover
And to try to redeem myself, I'll add something a bit more visually appealing (hopefully). The first has been here before but I really like it. So much so that I made a 20x30 print of it that is resting on top of my computer desk as we speak. The second was shot over a year ago but was never posted. It was shot with the intention of using it to replace images with dull or washed out skies. I've never gotten around to that so I thought I'd let it make its debut as a solo act, rather than sitting behind another image.
My friend and I happened upon this car while shooting in
Joshua Tree National Park a few months back.

And project blue ends. I wasn't very happy with my final blue post either, but I don't think you need redemption. Your photos are wonderful as always. I like the "more blue glue" best of the first three. I remember the car from when you first posted it and the clouds are beautiful. I've enjoyed your blues. Looking forward to whatever color comes next.
Wonderful finale!! I have enjoying seeing blue, my favorite color, and can't wait to hear about the next color!
Great way to wrap up the project.
Personally I liked the electrical wires in the cap the best.
One works well, but I absolutely loved te Bel Air!
Excllenet shots, Robert. Of course, I have a special affinity for the blue '57 - the all time favorite of my parents. In fact they had a few of them in their time.
I've so enjoyed all of your Project Blue photos. Great eye for picking out the blue everywhere. :D
I love the Bel Air...very cool. My cousin has a car like that and he's cool too...maybe that's why I chose it ;)
What can I say Robert - only you could take blue glue and make it worthy!
We had a blue 57 Chevy and sold it last August - yours is a quiet reminder that maybe we shouldn't have - a great photo. And those skies - a masterpiece from God captured very well!
Don't think just because the blue is gone that you're rid of me - I'll be back...
I am behind....so catching up all at once!
Your "blues" are amazing.....all shots are really imaginative.
I love the eye....it's gorgeous!
I can't remember if I've commented before but I have enjoyed all your blues. I really liked the Dodgers series - and I'm a Yankees fan :)
this last entry is wonderful. I love the blue glue. and funny coincidence - I just asked my son to fix the sprinkler head - it's leaking.
Hey! I think the glue has lots of visual appeal. You don't see blue glue everyday, but you can see a blue car fin anytime!!
Your last pictures were as good as your first. They make you see things in a different way and that's great.
The sprinkler valve is amazing!
And finally, now that Project Blue is over, I have a blue shot. I'm posting it tomorrow anyway.
LOVE the car. Awesome!
As for the points, they're yours to keep. I recommend taking them out on a rainy day, or April 15, or any time you need a reminder that your sense of humor is alive and well and brightening other people's lives.
I'm beyond honored that you plan to buy my book, and I'll happily make sure you get a signed copy. Thanks so much!
These are great and I really like the cover for the electrical wiring. NICE!
Amazing shots! I especially love the car's fish tails & the cloudy sky.
Love all the blue. The sky is my favorite. I just love those shots.
Just caught up with the rest of you blue photos since the circus - fantastic, but are they ever not!? My favourites-the car and definately the clouds. Oh and loved the tow-truck driver story!! will be back to visit before the next colour, thanks for your inspiring work. :0)
