Peaceful Easy Feeling

Something about this image that I shot a few months ago is soothing and relaxing to me. After four days of having Lily to myself, I need soothing. These four days have proven that God has great work to do in my heart. I'm am not a patient man. Maybe more so than others, but not where I desire to be. We actually ended the day on a really good note. She played while I cooked dinner. Since it was such a lovely evening, we ate dinner on the patio on Lily's request. We had a great time with lots of giggling from both of us. As I'm writing, Julianne is on her way back to us. Welcome home Sweetie. We missed you. :)

Patience is a virtue I don't always have either. It's a tough lesson to learn and to practice...especially with a toddler :-)

I love the image and I am glad that your time ended peacefully...what a nice time to have with your daughter! I am not patient either Robert and my husband is so good for me that way! What would I ever do if God wouldn't have given him to me???

Enjoy reconnecting with your wife after her trip!

Beautiful photo. It really does have a quality of peace about it.

I think 24/7 with even the sweetest child on earth is bound to try the patience at times. They are, after all, children and it's their job to test their own and your limits. Glad you ended up on a happy note and that your wife will be home soon.

Love the photo!

Our children are probably our best teachers, which just goes to show once again what a great sense of humor God has. :)

I'm glad you had some fun one on one time with Lily. My husband is going on a business trip for 5 days next week leaving me along with 3 young children. I'm going to try to follow your example and not have a nervous breakdown.

Btw, I think your photo looks weightless with a soft texture and maybe that's why it gives a relaxing feeling. Am I even close?
