Triple Celebration

We had family over today for three celebrations wrapped into one. Today we officially celebrated the 4th of July a day late. And then we had an early celebration of Julianne's mother's birthday and "Gotcha Day" which is adoption talk for the day we got Lily. It was a full and fun day. We had barbequed chicken, potato salad, fruit salad, cheesecake and homemade ice cream. YUM. After lunch, Lily got in her pool. And at the end of the festivities, Auntie Ellen and Lily shared some fun moments together.

What a lovely day and a great way to celebrate.

That b&w picture of Lily is stunning, you should definitely frame that one.

The final photo is my favorite. So much love. Happy anniversary on being a daddy.

Sounds like a great triple-party! I'm glad you found my Flickr -- I hear via Anna that she's recommending going Flickr Pro :) I finally just took the leap and went pro... now I'm trying to upload pictures!

Gotcha Day - isn't that just too precious.
I liked all the photos but I agree the B&W of Lily sitting and the sprinkling water is super!
She sure loves Auntie Ellen too - it shows in her expressions.
You captured the essence of a wonderful day.
