And to think I almost missed them. For the second time in as many weeks I left the house without a memory card in my camera. As I dug through my camera bag I found a 512 mb card. If I didn't shoot RAW this wouldn't have been a problem. That translates to 48 pictures so I was hoping for a short but sweet display. And that's just what I got. I had 4 shots left as I finished. Here are some of my favorites from tonight. Once again, Happy 4th of July!
Click on images to see them larger. I highly recommend it on this series.

Oooh!! Ahhh!! Oooohh! Oh wow, did you see that one!
Seriously Robert, they're gorgeous. I love fireworks. *happy sigh*
OOOH the fireworks are always so much fun. Good job on such great shots of 'em. Happy Bday America!
Despite the memory card difficulty, you still managed to get more pictures than I did :) They look great!
And I finally managed to post an audio recording -- thanks for the help!
I'm with Robin..ooh... ahhhh! Pretty! We watched the neighbors blow up money, I love it when they do that. I didn't try to do photos, I still have a lot to learn about that stuff.
How did Lily like the sparkles?
Robin said it best.
Our fireworks got rained out so this is my reward!
They are gorgeous!I've seen a lot posted the past couple of days and none are this crisp - it's just like I'm there.
And yes, how did Lily like it?
Ah... thank you, Robert. No fireworks here in the boonies this year. These are wonderful shots! I'm glad you found the memory card. What is RAW? Glad you had a good 4th and thanks for giving me a fireworks display... with good music too.
These are stunning and so festive! I am glad you got a ton of good ones!
Thanks for the fireworks display, Robert. It;s the only one I've seen this 4th. I like the 8th photo. It rather looks like an orchid.
Beautiful! We didn't get to see any this year, so seeing your photos makes up for it for me. I can almost hear them popping.
Wow! LOVE them!
Now, how did you do it? I tried but mine came out crappy!!
WOW! Those are truely amazing shots. I love the green one. Great job!
Wow, Robert! Those are incredible! Excellent shots. :D
