Yesterday Lily had a doctors appointment. Of course I was thinking it would make for another photo opp. After her last visit all we knew was the doctor wanted to see her again in 3 months. We thought she was done with immunization shots for a while. We thought wrong. I captured the happy moments in the doctors office before the doctor arrived. More importantly, before the nurse arrived with the two syringes. I did not take pictures of the injections although I have to admit I did consider it. Once the crying started, I'm glad I didn't. Poor lil thing. She seemed fine once she had her Band-Aids in place and was placed safely in her mommy's arms. However once she had time to process her ordeal, we were serenaded the entire drive home to cries of "Band-Aid, Hurt." Poor poor Lily.

Oh poor baby. Yes dr's visits are great photo ops!
band-aids and mommy's make it all better.
Poor little sweetie. I bet the mommy love in that last picture made it all better though. What a sweet shot.
She's so adorable. I always think one of the really nice things about being young is that you don't have to be brave about stuff like people sticking needles in you. You can cry and let the hurt out.... well, you can in healthy families any way....
What a lucky girl she is to have those wonderful parents to both hug and love her and document her life. When she's famous years from now, her auto biography will be richly documented with great photos.
She's so precious! Your idea of a photoshoot at the doctors office... brilliant!
And I think she's very brave... I still hate getting shots! I even admit to holding my moms hand last time (about a year ago, now). Its true.
Ugh, shot day is horrible. Poor Lily. Lucky for her she has no idea that there are more to come.
Aw, what sweet shots. I never would have thought of a doctor's visit as a photo op, but what a great idea!
No injury hurts quite as bad as the one on your child.
Oh Robert! These are the greatest!
They are all so sweet. But I truly love her expression in the third one.
Asleep on Mommy's shoulder shows she knows she's in a safe and loving place.
How's Dad holding up? :)
Every stop is a photo op in my book! I remember telling Christy to get some shots when she had her back surgery! ;) I love these and black and white suits them well I think! I am feeling a bit under the weather today so I did not post. I am sure I will be back in the swing of things tomorrow!
Poor little girl! Great photos!! You capture her little expressions perfectly!!
