Santa Barbara Zoo-Wordless Wednesday

We took Lily on her first trip to the zoo during my time off last week. When I asked Julianne what Lily seemed most interested in at the zoo, she replied, "Cheerios." I suppose at 19 months she's still a little young to fully appreciate it. When she saw a lemur, she pointed and said, "kitty cat." So cute. The pictures of Julianne and Lily from my previous post were taken at the zoo as well. Today, you get animals.

Any ONE of these would make a fabulous WW photo; you manage to give us a wonderful series (most weeks). What diversity...and stunning images! Well done!

Beautidul birds. I have been seeing a lot of snow buntings here and hear them tweeting about. It's nice to see them again as it is always ravens ravens ravens ravens all winter. Don't get me wrong, I love ravens but it's nice to listen to some tweety birds again.

Wonderful shots. The colors of the birds are so vibrant... and the shot of the elephants feet and trunk are particularly good... oh and the monkeys. Wow. All great shots... and with a baby in tow... extra impressive.

Your pictures are so beautiful. I love the natural light and angles you used. My favorite are the monkeys just chillin' on the bridge.

Great shots and it must have been a wonderful day. We spent today at the zoo with our 4 sons. Always one of my favorite places. Happy WW!

These *are* good pics.

But let's talk about Lily! lol.

If she liked the lemur, surely you have checked your PBS listings for Zooboomafoo. (sp?)

I'm starting to feel pangs of jealousy as y'all seem to live near my husband's old stomping grounds. His mom is still in Goleta.

I love the animal pictures! I can't wait to show these to my son, who is animal obsessed!

My WW this week is of the more domesticated variety: http://chezartz.com/?p=221

Oh, we have a Lily too...My sassy little 22 month-old is the subject of most of my WW pics.

Excellent zoo collection, Robert. If they were all shot on the same day, you were a very busy guy!
