Yipppeeee, another photo project. I found this new one at Quilly's Pacific Paradise. It is a 26 day long event in which Day 1 is A, Day 2 is B, etc.
Since it's an alphabet project, and alphabet does in fact start with A, I wanted something to represent the alphabet. I considered the sound/spelling cards posted on the walls of EVERY elementary classroom in our school district. But I wanted something more fun. With a 20 month old at home that is beginning to learn the alphabet, I thought I'd do well finding something around the house. My night was filled with shooting pictures of: Williams-Sonoma ABC Cookie Cutters; the book, A You're Adorable by Martha Alexander; arrangements of avocados (which I prefer to call "green death" for what they do to my stomach) and apples; and the letter M from Lily's set of linking letters. None of those made enough of a photographic expression for me to publish. Then I decided to get in close on Lily's Alphabet Pal by Leapfrog.

Very cool alphabet pal! Your yellow flower shots are great too! And the ballpark images are super. I love the cotton candy one. Great candid shot.

Probably the later of the two. ; )
Very imaginative and a great way of tying in not only the letter but the theme. I love the closeup.
Awesome composition! And I love the bright colours! Good job!!!!
The way the little A is poking out the bottom is great!
I took me a minute or so to see it, but then it seemed to just stare me in the face.
Great job!
I guess I couldn't enter a pic of someone's a**, since that is the only shots I am getting lately!

Green death? That's so sad! That is actually something I should have put on my 100 post-- avocados. I love them. :)

I like it! The color is great, and I love how you threw the background out of focus.

Hey Robert...Just wanted to say thanks for your comment on my blog. I am blessed enough to have my husband who provides for us so I can chase my dream down vigorously. I didnt know what I wanted to be when I grew up until about 3 years ago! OK, so I am slow and it takes me awhile! I will tell you to chase your down as well. Photography has room enough for everyone and what is so great about it is your eye is all your own! God made us that way!
A bio is on my professional website which explains kinda how I got to this point if you care to check it out.

Take care and have a good weekend!
Really amazing shot, love the reflection dots or whatever all you photo people call those little dots of light...he he.
It's a very striking shot. I never would have known what it was without the explanation (all my 'kids' have fur or feathers) so thanks for that. Good choice.
Whoof! Impressive. Bright. Bold. And cute too.
