Calm in Chaos

Perhaps a bit dramatic of a title but I'm finding images like this to be relaxing during a stressful transition. When I was a kid I had no idea teachers worked as hard as we do. I still enjoy it, but my gosh is it busy.

Lovely bokeh.

Hang in there, hopefully things will get easier once everyone's settled in a bit more.

Teachers work 10 times harder than what they're paid for, and often for even less appreciation. When it comes to teachers wages, this is the lowest paying state in the nation after figuring in the cost of living index, and they have decided to CUT teacher salaries by 10%. For a culture that claims to be all about family, one sure can't tell it by the value placed on educating their children.

Rant over -- I just visited all the posts I'd missed. The rainy damp flowers, the spider and web shots ... in fact everything is dazzling! My comp is not well, so I have to steal net time when I can -- that and moving have kept me busy and away. Sorry.

love the title, it is a calm but chaotic looking flower, so much vibrant colors but soothing to look at :)

Great picture! And I, too, appreciate your hard work as a teacher! Enjoy your day!

It looks so fuzzy. I just want to reach out and touch it! Haha! I never realized until I started spending more time with my teachers in high school how much it takes to be a teacher and then I came to the conclusion I did NOT want to be a teacher!

Dude, ANOTHER nice shot. Hey, you can always apply for work at a grocery store!

I'll give you a holler after today and you can rant about the stress then!
