Unexpected

Today was a day of family and friends. We had tentative plans to meet some friends this afternoon for lunch. Julianne called this morning and confirmed the plans. I suggested that I might bring my camera along. I know, what a stretch for me! Well I'm awfully glad I did. It turned into an unexpected photoshoot. I shot during lunch and then continued after as we hung out at the beautiful outdoor park just outside the restaurant. I think I got some great shots. I'm posting some here tonight. If you want to see more or other sets I'm posting, use my new Flickr link on the sidebar to the right. (If you're using a reader you'll have to enter my site to find it.) I also got lots of shots of Lily but I'm just posting the shots of our friends tonight. This was FUN!

Sean shot the above image when I had him test out my camera in my attempt to get him into a DSLR. I think I convinced him.

These are all beautiful. I especially like the first one and the black and whites. I predict that you are going to be invited more and more often with the added words.... oh - and why don't you bring your camera - as if you need to be persuaded.

My two favorite shots are parent and child.

I echo the prediction that you and your camera are going to suddenly become popular party guests. Don't just give the shots away when you get invites (although it's different when you invite yourself).
