Life at Home

I simply felt like shooting. Shooting anything. I know...how strange that must sound coming from me!

I started when I saw Lily's pandas sitting on the coffee table.

As I was snapping away, our cat Stella decided she wanted to bathe herself between the pandas and my lens. As I took a shot of her, she moved suddenly from licking her paws. It's hardly sharp, but I love how this came out.

Soon after, it was time for Lily to brush her teeth. Standard policy around here is Mommy or Daddy brush her teeth first, then she gets to finish the job.

What you see above and below is not Lily doing her famous psycho face, but rather her response to Mommy saying, "Lily, show Daddy your teeth."

That last one is great in black and white!

That's so funny that you shot those two pandas when there were two little baby pandas born today in a zoo.

You guys are doing a great job taking care of Lily's pearly whites.

I love stuffed animals so I love the pandas... the cat photo is magnificent. And of course you can't go wrong with a beautiful little girl showing her daddy her teeth.

I love the picture of Stella, but as always, Lily wins the award for most adorable subject :)

Haha, I guess all that commenting Anna (the younger) and I did on your blog yesterday really did wear me out... It couldn't have been all the running around I've been doing!

The kitty picture - yeah - I love it!
Lily is a darling and you capture her precious moments so well! Brushing those little teeth isn't something most parents would think to photograph - a childhood moment saved.
Great post!
