Flippin through the Archives

Our trip out to Ventura this past weekend had me thinking of some past pictures I took at the Ventura Harbor. Since I'm not working on any current photo projects, I don't feel so bad digging into the past. I'll get plenty of shooting in this weekend anyhow.

Each of the photos is unique in its own way; but I love the reflections on the last two. I have to agree with Karen that the colors on that last one are really beautiful.

I really love that third one. You have a great eye for angles. That bird staring straight at me is pretty wild too.

Nothin' wrong with breathing life into the archives :). That's ALL I've got these days :(. My camera ended up being shipped back to Nikon for a new circuit board or somethin'...I'M WITHOUT IT FOR TWO MONTHS!

Tears. Lots of them. At least it's under warrenty, but still....tears :(.

I LOVE your first shot--the tones set a mood. Bridges always translate to an interesting photo, too, the lines, movement...and mystery.

Happy clicking this weekend!

(p.s. I mailed your "runner-up" prize yesterday...SO SORRY for the delay!)

I love the first one! I've been digging through the pictures that I printed from my second trip to Italy in the hopes of one day getting them into albums, and I came across some boat shots from the Amalfi coast and thought about posting them. Then I visited your blog -- great minds think alike! I think I will wait until later to post, though -- maybe I can get a birthday-theme picture to post in honor of my brother!

I love the bottom two... reflections are so neat!
It is a little evil to delight in a Braves' loss (they did win today, though!), but I'll forgive you! I, on the other hand, harbor no ill will towards the Dodgers, so I *am* sorry that you lost.

I've been away from my computer for way too long! What a feast you had for my eyes! Too many favorites to list going all the way back to the wonderful zoo pics. I apologize for my lack of blogging. Life just is too crazy right now. I'm working an evening job to help cover all of our upcoming expenses so I'm just not here much!
CONGRATS on the job! That is really exciting. And fifth grade is a lot of fun. I can't wait to hear about your new students.
