O is for Oranges (or Oh How I Love My Macro)

Once again I had no idea what I was going to shoot for this project. I called Julianne on my way home from work to tell her I was going to pick up some oranges. Shortly after I got home I put two and two together. Can you tell I'm really enjoying my new lens? The color was great but I also wanted to emphasize the texture so you're getting a combo of color and b&w.

Yea... that macro business is great fun! I usually don't have THAT camera with me when I'm out and about though... I always just grab my little point and shoot... cuz it fits in my purse. I really should take the other more often!

These are just wOnderful! I can taste that orange!!! And I like the combo of color & B/W... it works!

Thanks. Now I'm hungry and thirsty. I specifically want orange juice -- from fresh oranges. We have none. All your fault.

Yummy photos.
