I is for A Walk for Inspiration

All day I kept wondering what I'd do for the letter "I". I was almost to the point of opening up a dictionary and looking for "I" words to go shoot. What I needed was some inspiration. So after work I got together with my friend and decided to go do some shooting. We ended up going on a hike in the local mountains. I was not consumed with pursuing "I" at this time. I just shot what looked good. Here are some of my favorites from our hike.

I love pictures with a path. Or a long road. I love when the path moves out into the distance without telling the view to where it leads.

I love the first one!! I totally am intrigued by the fact that you can't see where the path leads.

I agree about paths into the unknown. Those are all beautiful shots. I think the flower is full of inspiration.

Wow. I wish I had some scenery like that around here. I just want to climb into the first picture! I'm inspired! That could be on the front of a card or hanging in a frame with a great quote about inspiration or a journey. Love it. Now, I have to go finish preparations for a 6 year old's birthday party!

Oh my really inspiring! I'm trying to catch up with my reading here. I wish I had more time to blog... I work from home and it's becoming more and more difficult to keep up with blogging.

I *love* the bottom two images! I can't decide which I like better. I love the back lighting of the first one, but also love the color and sun spot on the bottom one (whoever said that sun spots are bad for pictures was just wrong...)
