This bible was passed down to us after the death of Julianne's father. The copyright of this bible is dated 1883. Within its signature pages are recorded births, deaths, and marriages which date back to the very early 1800's. Old photographs of long passed relatives may also be found within its pages. It's a very special keepsake to remind us of a very special man in particular.

BTW the guns are only fake, in Belgium it is not allowed to have any weapons only with a special permission and this is very very difficult to get. Mr. Gattino loves them as decoration, I prefer my cat collection, lol !

You're giving your macro a workout! That being said...you should print and frame these pictures; they'd make a nice grouping on a wall in your home :) (or maybe a gift for your mom on Mother's Day).

Woofenderful book to have cuz it's so old and, well, Family! It's kinda like a dog woof a pedigree that you kin trace yur bloodlines back... but I don't got a pedigree and Mom loves me anyway. Anyway, yur blessed.

To answer your question, I usually opt for black and white when I really want to focus on the subject and there are distracting elements in the back ground. Also, I think that for couples, black and white is a good option to make it a timeless portrait. And yes, I do take plenty of "accidental" blurry shots. Some of which turn out. But, just now I am learning to use a slower shutter speed creatively. This time I wanted a playful sense of movement and a dreamlike feel to the couple.

Haha, I liked your story about visiting LACMA. Actually, for me going to the right museum IS kind of like Disney World... The guards usually tell me to be quiet when I explain to my companions what each painting means -- who ever made up the rule that said you can't talk about art in a museum?
