Ladies Day Out

Julianne was hosting a craft event at the house yesterday. Her mother came to watch Lily during the festivities. With a house full of ladies, I decided to spend some time outside. With Solvang well behind me, I considered going on a bike ride to get ready for my next big ride, but it was a bit breezy. And you might recall how I feel about riding in the wind. So instead, I decided to go for a walk. And I thought it'd be a good idea to take my camera and new lens along. When I came back quite a while later, the craft event was finished and all the guests were gone. Julianne asked if I had met any of the neighbors while strolling the neighborhood. I told her about Dennis, the man who's house we've been admiring for the past few months watching each stage of the new hardscape, and now landscape. Nice guy. Beautiful yard. But I didn't get his picture. Instead, I took pictures of all the ladies I met along the way.

I'll post more pictures from this walk later...the ones without the ladies.
