My friend has been after me to post more current pictures for my WW posts. Outside of family pictures, I don't have any. I've been really itching for some photo-shoot opportunities. So until then, here some more shots from China (July 2007). These kind of stood out among the nearly 700 I took there.
Displayed proudly in a restaurant window. This was supposed make us want to eat there?

Chinese like braising duck webs with osyters sauce :) However the ones you took doesn't appeal to me, they look kinda 'dry'... I'll pass on these!! heeheee

I'm using this today to show my girls China as they have just been introduced by way of our study of the ancients and the Xia and Shang dynasty. (Don't be impressed; they basically just now know that there was a Shang dynasty.) lol.

happy wednesday
Those are gorgeous shots - I'm going to have to come back regularly to see more! I'll have to share with my hubby - he was there on a mission trip about 20 years ago.
Great pictures. I like the first one and then the one of the park the best.
Thanks for visiting me and leaving a comment about Grace the cat.
I think I like each one better than the next, then I go back and look at another and find that I like that one better. I can't decide. Each one is so very different and nice in it's own way.
I'm curious about the camera you were using and also about the lens you used on the red door? Information please?
The winter village you asked about is a little place called Dixboro, just on the outskirts of Ann Arbor, Michigan. It was especially pretty that day.
Great shots! just in time for the Chinese New Year. Kung Hei Fat Choi!
These are beautiful photos! Well, I'm not sure you can say that about the last one, but it is a good photo nonetheless. They make me want to travel to China and see these things for myself.
They are wonderful pictures of China! The chicken feet are especially telling. ;) When my parents visited China several years ago they had some very similar looking shots too.
